3DW consisted of a UBB Forum created by a friend of mine David Raftery (who could model a little bit, but joined on as a site admin), and a site consisting of some wierd CGI navigation menus and far to little content. We were never really happy with the site, but it did bring a bit of attention. We had a lot of problems too, mostly as the result of disorganization and inexperience. Some members had a falling out over ownership of major group projects, and Tachy, Pedro (who had been forced at pixelpoint to join the grou) and I decided it was time to start a new group.
